The newly remodel Tri-Cities Historical Museum is a treasure trove of cultural and historical items and information on this central portion of West Michigan.  In the museum, you can step into an early settler’s log cabin, a logging camp bunkhouse, trading post or even a teepee.  Explore the heritage of West Michigan today.  The Depot Museum
 
See how the “Midwest was won” with this exhibit and learning display on the transportation history of West Michigan.  Housed in the original Grand Trunk Railway Depot built in 1870, the exhibits include a restored steam locomotive and other forms of transportation. Learn about the early boats--big and small--that navigated the waters of Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes bringing industry and civilization to the midsection of the country.  Operated by the Tri-Cities Historical Museum.  Coopersville & Marne Railway
 
Take the family for a ride aboard this restored vintage passenger train that runs year-round from the train depot in Coopersville.  Trains head out on Wednesday and Saturdays plus enjoy themed train rides on the Bunny Train at Easter, the Pumpkin’ train at Halloween and Santa Train at Christmas.
