in a stone, classical revival building on beautiful
Centennial Park, the Holland Museum is dedicated to
preserving Holland’s past and the history Dutch
settlers that came here from the Netherlands. The museum
collection offers more than 10,000 artifacts including
photographs, artwork, clothing, toys, historic furniture,
and Dutch historical pieces assembled from around the

of Holland’s first mayor, Isaac Cappon,
the Cappon House was built in 1872 and today is preserved
as a visitor’s window to the past. The Italianate
style architecture of the house is unique for the area
and the home is listed on both the state and national
register of historic homes. Tours of the Cappon House

working class family, the Setters House Museum provides
a dramatic contrast to the luxury of the Cappon House
Museum which shows how the wealthy families lived in
